The Vireo is an excellent travel companion. It features roof prisms. The roof prism construction brings important advantages such as waterproofing and nitrogen gas filling, internal focus mechanisms that result in robustness and an overall very compact sized optical system. And that shows. The Vireo is extremely light-weight and folds down to a width of merely 67mm. All Vireo models feature multi-coatings and phase correction coating, resulting in a very sharp and bright image. The twist-up eyecups have 2 stages, designed for maximum comfort also with spectacles. The 8x24 is the smallest roof prism in the entire KITE product range.
